What is the padding made of? I can't tell it that's polystyrene or not.

It's foam (I'm not sure what kind. I forgot the name), but I've changed it to little pillow cases stuffed with poly-fil since then, since it works better.

You can see the difference in the legs here if you want: fav.me/d61q9af

Thank you ^_^ Although the first method helps out with getting the right shape for the fur-pants. I would recommend making some temporary foam padding just for the purpose of getting the right shape for the pants and then once you've gotten the pants made you can switch it out with pillow cases (which I made with cutting and sewing old bed sheets that no one needed) and stuff it with poly-fil to use. The pillow-case padding also allows you to move a lot easier in the suit. c:

When sewing, if you're a little too rough with the foam, with the string from the sewing sort of "break" the foam and detach? If that makes sense X3

Yeah, and that's why I recommend making cases out of some kind of material like sheets or something to have the padding in in sew it on that way. I just didn't have the materials to do that. xD

Sounds good! And when doing the legs, do you have to make the legs more baggy there? Like...JUST on the knee or do you just make the whole leg baggy?
